Real Madrid World has kicked off in Dubai - the latest of the emirate’s spectacular theme parks.

The Spanish soccer giants will be parading their trophies and their proud brand across six hectares - the equivalent of six football pitches - with 40 games and experiences.

These include Star Flyers, the world’s tallest flying chairs at 140 metres high — and Hala Madrid Coaster, the Middle East’s first wooden roller coaster.

Popular with soccer fans will be The Real Madrid Challenge Road to Victory and Bernabeu Experience, a tribute to the 15 European Cups in football and 11 in basketball won by the club.

At Meet the Stars, fans can have their photos taken with life-sized figures of several of the greatest players to have worn the Real Madrid shirt, including Cristiano Ronaldo, who is currently playing for Saudi club, Al Nassr and the Portuguese national team.

Fans can also get together to watch the team’s games live at Real Madrid World.

Fernando Eiroa, CEO of Dubai Holding Entertainment, said, “Real Madrid World is more than just a theme park - it is a celebration of football. This is an exciting addition to Dubai’s entertainment panorama with new experiences that are fully inclusive, educational and fun for everyone.”
