Studio City, located in Macau’s Cotai district, has introduced Studio City Sk8te Park, the city's first rooftop skate park. The launch follows the 2023 debut of an indoor water park as part of the resort’s Phase 2 expansion.

The facility, which opened in late March 2025, integrates street and park skateboarding elements and reflects the city’s urban landscape and cultural identity. It is designed for skateboarding, freestyle BMX, stunt scooters, and inline skating, catering to athletes of all skill levels.

The opening coincided with the inaugural “Studio City Sk8Fest” and the “2025 FISE Battle of the Champions – Macau” skateboarding competition. The events were part of the “Culture City of East Asia 2025 – Macao, China” programme and attracted top skateboarders, including Japanese athlete Kai Kishi, Macao’s Nathaniel Wong, and international skater Jasper Dohrs. The two-day festival featured BMX demonstrations, trick contests, graffiti workshops, breakdancing performances, and beginner skate classes.

The “2025 FISE Battle of the Champions – Macau” was held at the Studio City Event Center and brought together international athletes, offering spectators a competitive sports experience.
