Global tour operator The Travel Corporation (TTC) has announced two key executive appointments, with Simon Jones named as CEO while Melissa DaSilva will take on the role of deputy CEO, TTC Tour Brands.

DaSilva has served as TTC’s interim CEO since October 2024, following the departure of Gavin Tollman. In her new role, she will continue to oversee all source markets and remain a key leader in shaping the future of TTC Tour Brands.

Jones joins TTC from Away Resorts, a U.K.-based holiday park operator, where he led a successful turnaround and financial restructuring. Prior to that, he served as managing director of Premier Inn and Restaurants, managing over 33,000 employees across 1,300 locations.

“Melissa has been an exemplary leader throughout her interim appointment, guiding the Touring division with clarity and vision. Her permanent appointment reflects her outstanding contribution to the business,” said TTC chairman Carl Leaver.

“We’re also delighted to welcome Simon, whose directly aligned experience will be instrumental in driving the next phase of TTC’s success,” he said.

Jones’ start date is yet to be confirmed. In the meantime, DaSilva will continue serving as Interim CEO.
