BCD Travel has named Stephanie DeNote as senior vice president of travel commerce, a newly created role within the organisation.

DeNote will oversee BCD’s proprietary travel commerce platform, which supports booking and trip management for travellers and agents. She will be leading a global team comprising product managers, developers and engineers.

“A modern travel commerce experience is pivotal to the success of our clients’ travel programs. One that’s built on multi-source content, enabled with intelligent rules and delivered via modern points of sale supported by AI,” said Yannis Karmis, senior vice president of Product Planning & Development at BCD. “I'm very pleased to have someone as experienced and forward-thinking as Stephanie in this important role.”

DeNote has over 15 years of experience in product development for traveller and agent point-of-sale solutions. She most recently served as vice president of Product Management, Traveller Experience & Content at a major travel management company, where she led the development of an integrated digital platform and mobile app for both travellers and travel arrangers.

“I’m thrilled to join one of the largest, and more importantly most trusted, names in the business travel industry,” said DeNote. “I’m looking forward to applying my expertise to drive growth for BCD and impact for our clients.”

BCD Travel operates in over 170 countries and reported sales of US$20.3 billion in 2023.
