A new partnership between Luxury Gold and VisitScotland is set to bring lesser-known corners of Scotland into focus for 2026 travellers. The newly launched Spectacular Scotland itinerary, now on sale, aims to pair high-end travel with a commitment to sustainability and local impact.
Designed for small groups, the 10-day journey steers away from Scotland’s crowded tourist spots in favour of experiences that support regional economies and community-led initiatives. Destinations such as Cairngorms National Park and Dornoch replace the usual city stops, giving travellers a slower and more in-depth look at the country.
The itinerary features a number of The Travel Corporation’s signature MAKE TRAVEL MATTER Experiences aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, such as a tartan weaving demonstration at the women-run Prickly Thistle mill, conservation walks in Glencoe with local rangers, and marine protection insights with the Hebridean Whale and Dolphin Trust on the Isle of Mull.
Travellers will also take part in a welcome dinner at Wedgwood The Restaurant in Edinburgh, where ingredients are locally foraged and stories shared by the owners.
Accommodation throughout includes eco-conscious properties like Cameron House on Loch Lomond, which has been recognised for its work in biodiversity and conservation.
“Luxury travellers are no longer asking if their trip makes an impact – they’re asking how,” said Mae Cheah, managing director of The Travel Corporation (TTC) Tour Brands, Asia. “Spectacular Scotland gives travel agents the confidence to meet that demand with a truly unique itinerary that balances comfort, culture, and conscience.”
