StarCruises will begin its homeport deployment of Star Voyager in Hong Kong on 27 June, marking the brand’s return to the region.

A positive response to the original announcement of the Hong Kong deployment has encouraged StarCruises to add another 11 weeks, covering the autumn season with departures now scheduled until 14 November.

Travellers can embark the Star Voyager directly from Hong Kong’s centrally located Ocean Terminal.

Star Voyager will offer 2, 3 and 5 Night Cruise options, calling at Okinawa (Naha and Ishigaki) in Japan, as well as to Keelung, Kaohsiung and Penghu in Taiwan.

Additionally, the return of two-night Weekend High Seas Cruise, departing every Friday, offers a short escape for those seeking a relaxing sea-cation.

“Under the new StarCruises brand, we are thrilled to introduce our latest cruise ship, the Star Voyager, and to have her homeport in Hong Kong—a city with a long-standing history and strong connection to our brand,” said Michael Goh, president of StarDream Cruises.

“With the support of the Hong Kong SAR Government and the Hong Kong Tourism Board, we are confident that we will invigorate the local cruise industry and,” boost the Fly-Cruise and Rail-Cruise sectors.”

From 29 June to 13 August, the Star Voyager will sail a series of roundtrip cruises toTaiwan on select departure dates. Choose between the three-night night Kaohsiung–Penghu cruise (departing Sundays) or the two-night Kaohsiung cruise (departing Wednesdays).
