Royal Caribbean’s Quantum of the Seas has returned to Brisbane, marking the start of a new season of 22 sailings across the South Pacific, New Zealand, and Queensland’s coastline.
Gavin Smith, vice president and managing director, Australia and New Zealand, Royal Caribbean International, highlighted the ship’s appeal to Queensland families. “More Queensland families are choosing Quantum of the Seas for their next holiday, seamlessly combining spectacular destinations with the ease of an all-encompassing adventure. On Quantum, families can make their getaway truly their own with options to delight everyone,” he said.
The ship’s itineraries range from two to 14 nights, offering a mix of activities for all ages. Passengers can experience skydiving with RipCord by iFly, surfing on the FlowRider, or exploring the SeaPlex indoor activity centre. Dining options include gourmet experiences at Chef’s Table, sushi at Izumi, and Italian cuisine at Jamie’s Italian. Evening entertainment features live productions in the Royal Theatre and Two70, as well as music at Music Hall and Schooner Bar.
Key highlights of the season include:
South Pacific cruises: Eleven seven- to eight-night itineraries visiting destinations such as Mystery Island and Port Vila in Vanuatu, and Noumea, New Caledonia.
Queensland getaways: Five four- to six-night cruises exploring the Great Barrier Reef, Airlie Beach, and Cairns, with opportunities for snorkeling and enjoying fresh seafood.
New Zealand voyage: A 14-night itinerary featuring stops at Bay of Islands, Tauranga, Napier, and Wellington.
