The Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) recently organised its most extensive trade familiarisation excursion, drawing in approximately 110 trade partners from China, Southeast Asia, South Korea, and India.

This initiative aimed to showcase Hong Kong's diverse offerings to meeting and incentive travel agents, fostering deeper collaboration and innovative product development.

Accompanying this event, HKTB launched the “Hong Kong Incentive Playbook”, an extensive guide featuring over 100 unique experiences across five thematic categories. From traditional Taichi classes to tea-infused cocktail mixing, the playbook highlights Hong Kong's cultural richness and modern allure, providing ample inspiration for tailored itineraries.

Dane Cheng, executive director of HKTB, emphasised Hong Kong's resilience in the MICE sector, pointing out that in 2023, 60% of its 1.3 million MICE arrivals comprise meeting and incentive travellers. He underscored the significance of quality experiences in attracting discerning visitors, positioning Hong Kong as a premier MICE destination.

The recent "Hong Kong Incentive Playbook Launch and Top Agents Celebration" further solidified partnerships, recognizing outstanding agent contributions while fostering connections between local and international travel trade.
