Shangri-La Group has officially launched its first hotel in Cambodia, with the opening of Shangri-La Phnom Penh on 28 December 2024. Located in the lively Koh Pich district, the hotel forms part of a remarkable tri-tower landmark that reaches 228 metres, making it one of the tallest structures in the capital.
The property features 303 rooms and suites, offering guests stunning panoramic views of the Mekong, Tonle Sap, and Tonle Bassac rivers. The interior design combines Art Deco, Neo-Classical, and Khmer cultural elements, with natural light flooding through floor-to-ceiling windows to create a serene and inviting atmosphere.

Dining options at Shangri-La Phnom Penh include Kommune Dining & Social Space, which serves authentic Khmer dishes such as Beef Lok Lak and Fish Amok. The hotel also features Shang Palace, the Shangri-La Group’s signature Chinese restaurant, offering Peking Duck and other traditional Chinese dishes, alongside the Altitude rooftop bar, which offers breathtaking sunset views and a selection of cocktails and light bites. Both Shang Palace and Altitude opened in 2025.
Shangri-La Phnom Penh is equipped with world-class facilities for both leisure and business guests.
