The Tokyo Metropolitan Government and the Tokyo Convention & Visitors Bureau have introduced a dedicated ticketing platform on the official tourism website, GOTOKYO.org.

The new "Events and Tickets" page is designed to simplify the process for travellers to book tickets for popular attractions, cultural experiences, and live performances in Tokyo.

With Japan's visitor arrivals surpassing pre-pandemic records at 33.3 million by November 2025, the platform offers multilingual support in nine languages, including English, Chinese (Traditional/Simplified), Korean, German, and French.

It provides information for over 110 experiences, ranging from sumo wrestling and kabuki theatre to traditional craft workshops and guided tours.

The page enables users to purchase tickets in advance or for same-day events through integrated partner sites. If a partner site does not support certain languages, it defaults to English to ensure accessibility.
