Thailand’s travel industry will have better access to influencers
with the Tourism Authority of Thailand’s (TAT) new marketing platform,
TAT Connex.
The platform welcomes local and international key opinion leaders
(KOLs), influencers, bloggers, media and celebrities to connect with 10
types of tourism-related businesses.
Businesses able to benefit from TAT Connex include restaurants and
diners, hotel accommodation and homestays, transportation, recreational
activities and tourist attractions, travel agencies, health and beauty,
department stores and shopping centres, activity/meeting and
theatre/entertainment, and souvenir shops.
The first step for Thai tourism businesses keen to increase brand
visibility on the new platform is to register, via its application
(Android and iOS) and website www.tatconnex.com.
Users will be empowered to establish business partnerships and take
advantage of TAT Connex for real-time campaign tracking and data
analysis via social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram,
TikTok, and X (Twitter).
A business, for example which may want to work with influencers in
certain markets can increase brand exposure and connect with potential
customers via TAT Connex.
“This project underscores our strategy to apply full digital
transformation to take the Thai tourism industry to greater heights,”
said TAT governor, Thapanee Kiatphaiboon.
TAT Connex is available in Thai and English and is free of charge for all users.
