Digital travel platform Agoda has revealed the top travel trends for women in Asia for 2025, highlighting how women are increasingly shaping the travel landscape.
The survey shows that women in Asia are keen to explore new destinations, with a particular focus on adventure and travel with family and friends. Indian and Indonesian women are especially eager to discover new places, demonstrating a broader trend of curiosity and openness to diverse cultures and landscapes.
In terms of travel companions, women are more likely to travel with family, with 40% preferring this option compared to 28% of men. The survey also finds that women place significant value on camaraderie, enjoying the thrill of new journeys with close companions.
Meanwhile, women from Hong Kong and Thailand are more likely to embark on solo trips, driven by a desire for personal growth and self-discovery.
The ideal travel duration for most women in Asia is 5 to 10 days.
