Mondrian Maldives is set to open in 2026 on Kuredhivaru Island, located in the exclusive Noonu Atoll, just a 45-minute seaplane flight from Male International Airport. The resort will offer 105 villas, including 30 beach pool villas, 72 overwater pool villas, and three-bedroom beach pool residences, all featuring private pools for a secluded and tranquil stay.

The design of Mondrian Maldives will draw inspiration from modern art, culture, and architecture, creating immersive spaces throughout the property. “Surrounded by stunning beaches and turquoise waters, Mondrian Maldives will create the perfect sanctuary for our guests," said Phil Zrihen, brand COO for Mondrian Hotels at Ennismore. "In bringing Mondrian’s oversized imagination to the Maldives, we hope to raise the bar as a cultural and culinary destination in the islands."

The resort will provide a variety of experiences, including a spa, gym, diving centre, yoga pavilion, tennis and volleyball courts, and swimming pools. Younger guests will have access to a kids’ club. The resort will also feature four restaurants and bar venues offering innovative culinary and mixology experiences.

Mondrian Hotels, known for its properties in cultural hotspots like Los Angeles, Miami, Singapore, and Ibiza, is continuing to expand globally. The Maldives resort will be the latest addition to its growing portfolio, which also includes upcoming properties in Abu Dhabi, Tulum, Dubai, and Australia’s Gold Coast.
