Hilton will bring its NoMad Hotels brand to Asia Pacific for the first time with the opening of NoMad Singapore in early 2027. The new property will be located along Orchard Road on the site of the former Faber House, which is being redeveloped by UOL Group Limited into a 19-storey hotel with commercial and retail spaces.
NoMad Singapore will offer 173 rooms and marks Hilton’s entry into the luxury lifestyle segment in Singapore. The NoMad brand recently became part of Hilton’s luxury portfolio following its acquisition of a majority stake in Sydell Group.
“This signing adds a new and significant dimension to Hilton’s phenomenal growth story in Asia Pacific, as we gain a critical foothold in the luxury lifestyle space,” said Alan Watts, president, Asia Pacific, Hilton. “With demand for high-end, experience-driven stays surging across the region, the luxury gateway of Singapore offers the perfect backdrop to debut NoMad’s uniquely local luxury hospitality.”
Designed by architecture firm WOHA, the hotel will incorporate a biophilic design with a 15-storey waterfall and a vertical landscaped façade. An “urban verandah” on level three will serve as a public space for art and design programming, while the fifth level will feature the hotel lobby, a sky terrace, and an infinity pool.
The hotel will also feature curated artworks by Singaporean artists with special needs as part of UOL’s commitment to cultural engagement and inclusivity. A rooftop bar and restaurant will sit above the guestrooms, offering views over the Orchard Road precinct.
