Minor Hotels has appointed Puneet Dhawan as head of Asia, effective July 2024. Dhawan brings over 30 years of hospitality experience, most recently as senior vice president of operations – India & South Asia at Accor.
In his new role, Dhawan will be responsible for overseeing the performance of all Minor Hotels properties across Asia, working closely with the senior leadership team, and reporting directly to Minor Hotels CEO Dillip Rajakarier.

Minor Hotels has ambitious expansion plans in Asia, with a target of adding more than 200 new openings to its global portfolio by the end of 2026, approximately half of which will be in Asia.
The group also plans to open 50 new hotels in India within the next ten years, including the debut of its luxury Anantara brand in Jaipur later this year.
