Marina Bay Sands has taken luxury to a new level in Singapore with the completion of hotel room renovations. The renovation of approximately 1,850 rooms, including 775 suites, comes at a cool price: US$1.75 billion.
The Sands Collection has now been fully refreshed – one of two distinct hotel collections launched under the transformation.
The urban sanctuary Sands Collection has 1,480 rooms and suites, ranging from Sands Premier Room to the family-centric Sands Family Suite.
The ultra-luxurious Paiza Collection offers mostly suite accommodation, including the three- to four-bedroom Chairman Suite with its 146” television, karaoke facilities and fully stocked kitchen.
Up another level, the two-bedroom Presidential Suite is fitted out with a golf simulator loaded with world-renowned golf courses; and the one-bedroom Horizon Suite with its rejuvenating spa-in-a-city concept, comprising a Himalayan salt wall, hammam shower, dry sauna, private gym and two massage tables.
Guests receive round-the-clock service from a 160-strong Butler Services team – one of the largest butler teams in the world.
The reinvestment programme will next see the launch of Jin Ting Wan, the property’s fully owned and operated Cantonese restaurant, in July this year.
Other refurbishments include LAVO Italian Restaurant & Rooftop Bar in the second half of the year. Also in the pipeline are lobby enhancements and a new spa.
