Hilton is bringing its mid-scale Hampton by Hilton branding to Southeast Asia with the opening of a 112-room property in Phuket.

It is scheduled to open in the third quarter 2026 and will become Hilton’s ninth brand in Southeast Asia where it currently offers 110 properties and anticipates expanding its portfolio by more than 50%.

Recent signings have included two new Hilton Garden Inn hotels in the Philippines, and new Hilton Garden Inn properties in Vietnam, Malaysia and Indonesia.

Hilton says guests love the Garden Inn brand for its complimentary hot breakfast and  premium sleep experience.

Last year, the brand celebrated the opening of its 3,000th hotel globally as well as milestones, including 10 years of operations in China.

Hampton by Hilton Phuket Town is located within walking distance from the centre of Phuket Old Town.

“Introducing Hampton by Hilton to Southeast Asia is the next piece in our strategic vision to grow our focused service portfolio in the region,” said Maria Ariizumi, vice president, development, South-east Asia, Hilton.
