Hungry Hub, Thailand’s online restaurant and hotel reservation platform, has agreed a strategic partnership with the Singapore Tourism Board.
The collaboration aims to leverage Singapore’s diverse food scene to attract Thai and Malaysian visitors, as part of STB’s recently launched campaign to showcase Singapore as a global culinary hub.
Hungry Hub will offer curated dining experiences at a range of restaurants in Singapore. App users will be able to purchase fixed-price meal packages on the app at select restaurants, allowing them to browse and choose what they want from pre-selected menus.
Under the partnership, STB and Hungry Hub will launch joint marketing campaigns to promote F&B experiences in Singapore through social media.
STB and Hungry Hub will also engage foodie influencers to visit Singapore and create content around these experiences, while also including attractions, retail and leisure events as part of their itineraries.
Chief executive of Hungry Hub, Surasit Sachdev said the expansion marked a significant milestone for Hungry Hub as it moves toward becoming a global OTA for restaurants.
“Leveraging our success with 1,700+ partner restaurants in Thailand, including Michelin-starred and fine dining venues, we’re well-positioned to attract both Thai and international customers to Singapore’s vibrant culinary scene,” Sachdev said.
Hungry Hub is set to host its inaugural Hungry Hub Red Table Awards 2024, an event honouring top restaurant and hotel partners for their outstanding contributions throughout the year.
