Malaysia’s YTL Hotels is continuing to develop its brands across Asia, with the introduction of the Moxy brand to Kuala Lumpur and the AC brand to Ipoh.

Moxy Kuala Lumpur Chinatown embraces the restoration of the historic Oriental Bank building on Jalan Hang Lekiu while remaining faithful to its Chinese roots with bold crimson accents harking back at traditional shophouse colours, and murals blending heritage motifs with street art flair.

Among the hotel’s public spaces, Zone In doubles as a social hub where travellers check-in with a welcome drink.

Upstairs, the Bar Moxy evolves throughout the day – from poolside lounging to golden-hour cocktails.

AC Hotel Ipoh, situated at the historic 88 Alan Sultan Abdul Jalil, pays homage to Ipoh’s storied past, overlaid  with a European-inspired design philosophy.

For business travellers, The Tin Mine Club commands panoramic views of the city, and caters for groups anywhere between 10 and 200.

Events spaces include Ipoh’s largest pillarless ballroom with the Grand Ballroom offering a capacity of 800 pax banquet style and 1,600 in theatre seating.

A Junior Ballroom features a capacity of 250 pax banquet style and 500 in theatre format.

The next upcoming property in the YTL Hotels portfolio is the opening of Moxy Niseko Village in Hokkaido, Japan.

Niseko Village sits within the Niseko united ski area that accesses inter-linked ski resorts boasting a combined 2,191 acres of skiable terrain.

Niseko Village is located at the base of Mount Niseko Annupuri, offering hotels with spa and onsen facilities, a dining and retail village hub, luxury residences, an international snow school and alpine activities.

In summer, the resort transforms with world-class golf courses, and an outdoor nature park.
