Panorama Group and Malaysia Airlines signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 18 April 2025 in Kuala Lumpur during the MATTA Fair – one of Malaysia’s largest tourism exhibitions – to enhance outbound travel from Indonesia and attract more international visitors, reflecting a shared commitment to regional tourism collaboration.

Under the MoU, both parties will launch a series of joint initiatives to expand market reach and improve customer value. These include special promotional fares for Indonesian travellers going abroad and for regional visitors from countries such as Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand travelling to Indonesia.

“We are very enthusiastic about formalising this partnership with Malaysia Airlines,” said Budi Tirtawisata, Group CEO of Panorama Group. “This reflects our commitment to delivering integrated travel solutions that provide real value for Indonesian outbound travellers and international visitors coming to Indonesia.”

The partnership also covers corporate travel management, with Panorama offering exclusive rates to its corporate clients, supported by joint marketing efforts to grow this segment. Malaysia Airlines will receive preferential access to hotel and hospitality services managed by Panorama Group.

Marketing and promotional campaigns will target both domestic and international audiences. This includes outreach to Indonesian travellers via digital platforms and local tourism fairs, as well as participation in global travel trade shows to reach international markets.

“This MoU marks an important milestone in strengthening regional tourism collaboration,” added Dersenish Aresandiran, chief commercial officer airlines, Malaysia Aviation Group. “Together with Panorama Group, we are committed to enhancing connectivity and delivering seamless premium travel experiences across key markets, especially in the fast-growing Indonesian market.”
